directions

Experience tells us you won't listen, but we're gonna say it anyway:  We know the roads around here better than your GPS, google or your iPhone.  If you follow the directions from one of those devices, a multitude of conditions might occur:  you are likely to be sent down a 10 mile unpaved portion of Route 121 - during certain seasons and weather conditions this road can be impassable; your device may not recognize our town and you'll end up in an entirely different city; or it may send you down roads that no longer exist.  In any of these instances, you will probably be in an area without cell coverage, and will be unable to call us for help.  Please, trust the directions below.

from the boston area

Take route 2 west all the way to Greenfield, MA and take I-91 North to exit 6 in Vermont (your GPS will tell you to take exit 5 - resist the urge)  From there, follow route 103 North. Drive for 20 miles. (In Chester, this road becomes Rte 11 West.   Route 103 splits off - you should not- you will continue straight) Turn left onto Route 121.  In 2 miles, at your first four way intersection, turn left onto Hitchcock Hill Road.  We are 1/2 mile up on the right.

from the nyc area

Take I-87 North to Albany.  Take the exit for I-787 North.  Take exit 9E for NY Route 7 East.  The road changes to Route 279 in Vermont.  Take the ramp for US Route 7 North. Take exit 4 for Route 11.  Turn right at the end of the ramp, and drive for approximately 14 miles, then turn right onto Route 121.  In 2 miles, at your first four way intersection, turn left onto Hitchcock Hill Road.  We are 1/2 mile up on the right.
